What Real Obstacles Can You Meet By Opening A New Amazon Seller Account?

To open an Amazon Seller account it takes a maximum of 24 hours. After you complete the registration you must wait for validation and you are ready to list your first product in your catalogue.

Depending on how many products you plan to sell you can define your strategy to start. If you have less than 50 sales per month stay with an individual account as I did when I started in December 2024.

Where I Discovered The First Product?

I hired a certified affiliated company to find me products. I was entering the Amazon Service Provider Network page placed near the Add A Product page. I clicked on Cataloging. Here I contacted a few companies who provided a full package service to manage all my activities, including product sourcing, FBA compliance, auto-fulfilment, returns and advertising.

They all make mistakes. I discovered after one month of trying multiple times to talk with them that they don't choose the best products for you to sell here in the UK or the United States. You must be careful.

My competition sells this product using FBM with only 3.60 GBP I sell it with 10 GBP and I don't know why. I must reduce the price even if I don't profit, just to sell it.

What Could Be The Second Product?

I can publish a second product called a diary. It can be more profitable than the permit holder from above but I wait to see what the company I hired will do with the first product for which I must pay advertising too.
